Authentication and Authorization

Once started, the client authenticates to the CXone Mpower-hosted server based on the tenant configuration.

To ensure successful authentication and authorization, each agent should have a corresponding user in CXone Mpower and a unique attribute of their OS login name, composed of their computer name and user name.

After successful authentication and authorization, the client will begin collecting data from the agent's desktop based on the client's configuration file. This file defines which data collectors should be activated and used, such as:

  • WEB connectors

  • Win 32 application collectors

  • Java application collectors

By default, all connectors are automatically activated. To manage the CXone Mpower Desktop Discover Client configuration file, see the Configuration Management section.
